The first step
for us is to determine the height and the
width of the brick column you wish
to build. These measurements are
necessary for calculating the amount
of bricks and mortar necessary for
building the columns. We will visit
you at your location to take
measurements and talk about the
details of your brick column
building project.
We can show you
samples of the different types of
bricks and you can also choose the
right color of brick for your
column. Our Miami
based construction company can take
care of the delivery and purchase of
all the materials, such as mortar,
bricks and all miscellaneous
materials necessary for building
your brick column. We can even
provide you with the delivery for
free of charge anywhere in the Miami
area.
We don't require any kind of
deposit. We will complete the brick
columns and you pay only upon the
final completion of the job, if you
are totally satisfied with the
outcome!

Our brick masonry company is
currently responsible for the
building of 19 brick bus shelters on
Broward Blvd and University Drive in
Plantation. We installed the red old
Chicago bricks for the columns and
the seating bench. We were also
responsible for the installation of
the brick pavers and the precast
stones on the seats and on the
columns.

Our brick columns are
perfectly plumb, the
joints are equally sized
and the bricks are
perfectly level on each
courses. Our brick
layers are experienced
to build brick columns
of any size or shape. We
can even excavate and
poor the concrete
footings or base for the
columns. If you wish to
build brick columns on
front of your property
as freestanding columns
we can accent each
columns with a topper or
a cap
constructed from hard
stucco, cast stone,
natural stone or brick.
If
you have a metal pole that you wish
to cover that would basically set
the location of the columns.
If you
wish to build new brick columns we
would outline the exact spots
for each column first.

As
we go along
with the installation of the bricks
we will fill up or tuck-point the
joints with mortar. The most
commonly used joints are either
concaved (picture on the right) or raked out ( Square
recessed ) joints. If we finished
tooling the brick joints we also
brush it with a light whisk brush to
smooth-out the surface of the
mortar. |
